You have important questions, and you need answers you can trust. I design and carry out research studies built around what you need to know, with particular strength in qualitative methods that capture people's experiences in their own words, alongside quantitative approaches when the question calls for them. That can include designing and running surveys and applying techniques such as text analysis, regression analysis, and predictive modeling. My work has ranged from exploring the psychological effects of social media to analyzing large-scale educational datasets. Whatever your question, I bring academic rigor to the work and translate the results into clear, practical findings you can act on.

How do you know whether your program is doing what you hoped it would? I work with you to design and carry out evaluations that measure your program's perceived effectiveness, drawing on the experiences of the people who run it and the people it serves. My experience includes curriculum assessments, educational program reviews, and evaluations of organizational initiatives across a range of settings. I pair those perspectives with careful data collection to understand what's working, identify barriers to success, and provide evidence-based recommendations to strengthen your work and guide your next steps.

If your organization runs several programs or has commissioned multiple evaluations over the years, there's valuable insight waiting across those reports. I conduct systematic reviews and syntheses of existing evaluation studies to uncover patterns across programs and to assess the quality of the evaluations themselves. With a graduate certificate in metaevaluation, I can help you see the bigger picture: how your initiatives are performing as a whole, which evaluation approaches work best in which contexts, and where to focus your evaluation efforts and resources going forward.
What I do…
How I do it differently…
The hard part of evaluation isn't the statistics. It's producing findings a director can read on Tuesday and act on by Friday.
I build evaluations that survive contact with real institutions — observation protocols volunteers can actually run, surveys frontline staff will actually complete, and reports that put the decisions on the first page. Rigor matters, but rigor nobody reads changes nothing.
My personalized approach combines rigorous analytical methodology with clear, accessible communication, ensuring that insights reach decision-makers in formats they can immediately use and trust.
